ANDOVER

JULY 14

Theft. Electronics were stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 13700 block of NW. Crocus Street.

CENTERVILLE

JULY 23

Check welfare. Officers observed a man on the ground in the 17000 block of Westview Road. They found the 30-year-old man to be intoxicated and released him to his parents.

FALCON HEIGHTS

JULY 14

Underage drinking/driving. A 20-year-old woman was arrested and cited for underage drinking and driving, driving after suspension, and driving outside of a traffic lane. A passenger in the vehicle also was arrested and cited for underage drinking.

Theft. Someone pumped $40 worth of gas into a vehicle and left without paying at a gas station in the 1600 block of Snelling Avenue. The license plate was traced to a vehicle that had been involved in similar incidents. The presumed owner was contacted but told police that she did not own the vehicle.

FRIDLEY

JULY 13

Burglary. A suspect stole a TV, cash and cookies from Bilal Oromo Dawa Center, 7200 University Av. NE., before fleeing on a bicycle.

JULY 16

Indecent exposure. A 42-year-old man was cited for indecent exposure in the 6200 block of NE. 5th Street.

Suspicious activity. Officers responded to a report of three people carrying chemicals in the area of Anna Avenue NE. and NE. Charles Street. They located the suspicious parties, who were out catching frogs with their children.

JULY 18

Animal complaint. An officer responded to a report of a bird's nest detached from a chimney at a home in the 200 block of NE. Longfellow Street. The resident was concerned because the nest had five baby birds in it. The officer brought the birds to the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center in Roseville.

HAM LAKE

JULY 19

Theft. A boat motor was stolen off a boat in the 13800 block of NE. Aberdeen Street.

LANDFALL

JULY 13

Theft. A 100-foot garden hose was taken from a yard on Evergreen Drive.

LAUDERDALE

JULY 10

Littering. An officer observed the occupant of a vehicle parked in the 2500 block of Larpenteur Avenue throw something out of the window. They were given a verbal warning.

NEW BRIGHTON

JULY 9

Vandalism. A free library stand reportedly was emptied of its books and inscribed with racial slurs in the 1500 block of 23rd Avenue.

OAK GROVE

JULY 14

Drunken driving. A 41-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving after he was found passed out in a vehicle in the 24000 block of Cedar Drive NW.

PINE SPRINGS

JULY 13

Slumper. A woman was reported passed out at the wheel of a vehicle parked on the roundabout at Hilton Trail and Hwy. 36. Authorities found her in a car with its flashers on and showing no signs of impairment. She explained that the car had broken down and help was on the way.

ST. ANTHONY

JULY 10

Theft. A 14-year-old boy was cited for theft after he was caught shoplifting $124.98 worth of merchandise at Cub Foods, 3930 Silver Lake Road. He was released to the custody of his father.
