Northwest Soaker Tuesday

A storm system loaded with Pacific moisture will spread into the PacificNorthwest and British Columbia Tuesday.The storm will produce locally heavy rainfall in western Washington and onVancouver Island Tuesday and Tuesday night.

The heaviest rain will fall along the western slopes of the Cascades, where upto 2 inches of rain could come down.

As usual, rain will be much lighter and more spotty east of the Cascades, asthe air evaporates coming down off the mountains.
