Notre Dame law scholar to discuss 'human dignity' at St. Thomas lecture

A Notre Dame law scholar is slated to discuss the subject of "human dignity" during a lecture at the University of St.Thomas on Thursday.

Paolo Carozza, professor of law and director of the Center for Civil and Human Rights at Notre Dame Law School, will talk about "Human Dignity and the Method of Human Experience" at 7:30 p.m. at the O'Shaughnessy Educational Center on the school's St. Paul campus.

Carozza also directs the Notre Dame Law School's programs in international human rights law and law and human development, according to released statement from St. Thomas.

Carozza is former president of the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights and is a fellow of the Kellogg Institute for International Studies, the Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies and the Nanovic Institute for European Studies.
