An Ohio nursing student who disappeared from a Minneapolis restaurant several days ago was located in her home state, a Muslim advocacy group said Friday.

Abiir Moalim, 21, turned up back in Columbus, the Minnesota chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-MN) announced. The group offered no details on the circumstances leading to her no longer being missing.

Before this development, Moalim was last seen late Sunday afternoon at Quruxlow restaurant in the 1400 block of E. Lake Street, CAIR-MN said of the woman of Muslim of Somali heritage.

The group had offered $5,000 reward for information leading to her whereabouts. Police said they also were investigating the disappearance.

Moalim is studying nursing at Columbus State Community College in Ohio's capital city, CAIR-MN said.
