Obama visits La Crosse on Wednesday

September 30, 2008 at 5:17PM

Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama is coming back to Wisconsin, his fourth trip to the Badger State since Aug. 24.

Recent polls in the state give Obama modest leads, and GOP rival John McCain's campaign believes this is a state that can swing its way.

Obama will be in downtown La Crosse on Wednesday, at 2nd and Pearl streets outside the La Crosse Center.

Gates open at 8 a.m., with the program starting about two hours later.

No ticket is required, however an RSVP at www.barackobama.com is strongly encouraged.

Obama was in Green Bay on Sept. 22, Milwaukee on Sept. 1 and Eau Claire on Aug. 24.
