Borden, Eric Craig It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Eric on September 25, 2019. He was surrounded by his family, Richard, Joyce, Christopher and Sarah. He was born on October 9, 1968, in Edina where he grew up. He played football and was in the concert band at Edina High School. He was active in Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts where he became an Eagle Scout. Eric graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree. He moved to Arizona to work on interstate highway systems. Eric loved the hot weather and never missed cold winters in Minnesota. He loved to play his drums and play golf. His favorite thing to do was watch football games. Eric did move back to the Midwest and lived in River Falls, Wisconsin. He is survived by his parents, Richard and Joyce Borden, his brother, Christopher Borden and family, Sarah, Isabella, and Andrew. A memorial service will be held at Mount Olivet Lutheran Church, 5025 Knox Ave. S., Minneapolis, MN, on October 14, 2019.
