Reemts, James Clarence of New Prague, Minnesota, passed away on Wednesday, October 14th, 2020 Preceded in death by his parents, Bennie and Marie, brothers Ray, Gene, and Ronnie, sisters Shirley and Ann, and grandson, Noah. Survived by his loving wife Joanne and children, Jeannie, Nisi (Tom), Chris (Kelly) and Colleen (Brian). Also his brothers Dave and Bob; grandchildren, Rachel (Connor), TJ, Rayna, Ryan, Taryn, River and Wren and great-grandchildren Rose, Tony and Caryline. James grew up on a farm near Deer Creek, Minnesota. He then moved to the Twin Cities, where he worked for Dayton Hudson Corporation for forty-four years. He was also a firefighter and fire marshall for the city of Apple Valley before moving to New Prague. In 1979, Jim and Joanne bought a small property east of New Prague. In 2015, they sold the farm and moved into town. They joined Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, where James enjoyed his time on the kitchen crew. A small service was held Saturday, October 17th at the family home. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church Kitchen Fund.
