Ellis, Andrew "Andy" G. age 87, passed away peacefully on February 27, 2021. Andy was born March 5, 1933, in Minneapolis. Preceded in death by be- loved sons, Jeffrey and David. He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years Harriet; daughter, Rhonda (Rick); son, Michael; daughter-in-law, Twanika; grandson, Jeffrey (Tracy); granddaughters, Katie (Michael) and Emily (Adam); grandsons, Brian (Kjellan), Alexander and Zachary, and great-grandchildren, Mattea, Kellen, Rylan, Eva, Iris, and Everett. Andy was a lifelong member of Zuhrah Shrine and captain of the cycle corp for 19 years. He was also a member of the Osman Shrine and an honorary member of their cycle corp. Andy had a passion for music boxes, antique cars, and "a good Chinese buffet." He had a great deal of pride in his ever-growing family and always enjoyed dinners out with the whole gang. He will be dearly missed. Service 12 Noon Tuesday March 9, 2021 at THOMSON-DOUGHERTY MANSION, 2535 Park Avenue, Minneapolis with visitation at 11 AM. Interment Lakewood Cemetery, 3600 Hennepin Avenue, Minneapolis.
