Larson, Michael S. Michael went home to the Lord on May 23, 2021, at age 64, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Terre Haute, Indiana and raised in Lindstrom, Minnesota, he truly enjoyed all that a small town in Minnesota had to offer. Whether it was skiing, enjoying lake time with his friends, earning his Eagle Scout, or working at the A&W and Sheriff's Department, Michael loved it. Michael went on to earn his Bachelor's degree from the University of Minnesota and entered the world of Managed Healthcare. For over 37 years, Michael shared his strong knowledge and skills at multiple National Healthcare Companies including: United Healthcare, Encompass, Conifer Health Solutions and Health Balance Strategies with GEHA. Michael enjoyed the relationships he established with his peers and friends of the Industry for many years. Golfing with his friends, traveling to each of the coasts and enjoying lake time with his family were treasured moments for him. Michael's positive attitude and eternal optimism shined through no matter the hardships he encountered. His quick wit, along with the aptitude to provide one liners at any given moment was miraculous. Michael had the uncanny ability to speak on any subject that was being discussed at any venue and shared his opinions willingly. When Michael was in the room, one had to smile for his wonderful laugh, twinkling blue eyes and beholding smile engaged everyone. Michael met and married the love of his life Cindy, and together they spent the next 37 years building a beautiful loving marriage and family. His proudest moment was the birth of his daughter Danielle. Watching, encouraging and sometimes challenging her as she grew up made his life whole. When she and her husband gave him the gift of becoming a grandpa, he felt a joy that continued to grow each moment he spent with the grandchildren he so adored. Michael is survived by his loving family of wife, Cynthia; daughter, Danielle Perez Valadez, son-in-Law Mario, granddaughter, Madison and grandson, Johan Michael. Michael is also survived by his loving sister, Margot Weyandt, (Paul); brothers, Jeffrey (Rocio), Eric (Lori); in-laws Lawrence and Kathleen Belair, Joe Belair (Wendi), Beatrice Stelten, (John), Andrea Zimmermann (Todd), Elaine and Doug Belair along with many very special nieces, nephews and treasured friends.
