Burglund, Audrey Martha (Turner) age 95 of Savage, Minnesota passed away peacefully at home on July 24, 2021 surrounded by her four loving children. She was born March 18, 1926 to Lloyd and Nettie June Turner in Minneapolis, where she grew up with siblings Rose and Irving. She met the love of her life Kenneth at age 16, and after he returned from service in WWII they were married (1946) and started their family. In addition to being a devoted wife and mother, Audrey worked at Dayton's selling children's shoes and later enjoyed a 25+ year career in real estate. Family was the center of Audrey's world and nothing was more important to her than spending time with them, celebrating holidays and special occasions. She and Ken traveled extensively, visiting family and friends, while enjoying numerous adventures along the way. Some of their most memorable trips were to annual Marine Corps. reunions across the United States. Their home in Minnetonka was the site of countless Easter egg hunts, pool parties, and Sunday afternoon meals. She played competitive Bridge well into her 90's, and enjoyed many other pastimes and hobbies, including Bunco and wine with her neighbors, golfing, and gardening. Audrey was always up for a game! She was a wonderful combination of love and strength. Nothing was too difficult for Audrey, as she showed through caring for numerous family members in their time of need. She loved deeply, displaying that love in too many ways to count. Audrey is survived by her children, Sandra (Robert) Ridgway, Suzanne Berg, Pamela (Joseph) Carbonari, and Steven (Jennifer) Burglund; sister-in-law Charlotte Turner; grandchildren, Camee Ridgway, Keith (Holly) Ridgway, Christopher (Beth) Berg, Jodie (Chad) Moeller, Jeremy (Janna) Berg, Caryn Kennedy, Ned Carbonari, Seth Carbonari (Kristy Bly), Jenny (Todd) Rice, Kyle Burglund, Brett Burglund, Hanna Reese, Garrison Reese, and Jackson Reese; great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Rebecca, Marissa, Kaia, Myles, Emily, Kate, Jack, Alex, Oliver, Addison, Tiffany, Natalya; great-great grandchildren Parker, and Zoey. Preceded in death by parents; husband of 63 years, Kenneth; sister Rose Roberts and brother Irving Turner. Memorial service will be held at 12:00 pm, with visitation at 11:00 am, on August 16 at Messiah Methodist Church in Plymouth, MN, 17805 County Rd 6, Plymouth, MN with luncheon to follow.
