Pilon, Donna Irene age 92, of Plymouth passed away peacefully on March 29, 2022. Preceded in death by parents Roy and Elsie Hall, sisters Marjorie, Marilyn and Eleanor; husbands James Pilon and Ralph Larson, sons John Pilon and Steven Pilon and daughter Linda Pilon. Survived by son Daniel Pilon (Jennifer Nurnberger); daughters Tamara Sikkink (Daniel) and Candace Pilon (Gurumurthy Ramachandran); son- in-law John Miller; grandchildren Andrea and Christopher Miller, Kate and Max Sikkink, Sandhya and Arjun Ramachandran, Andrew Pilon; nieces and nephews; cousin Lila Willette and cousin Virginia "Sis" Willey. Donna was a lifelong resident of Minneapolis and Robbinsdale. After graduating from Minneapolis North High School Class of 1948, she raised six children while working full time and later retired from dual careers in municipal employment at City of Robbinsdale and retail at Montgomery Ward. Donna enjoyed 30 years of retirement- which included world travel, entertainment adventures and many good times with the children and grandchildren she adored. Donna appreciated simple pleasures-hot coffee, game shows and a daily newspaper. Her family and friends appreciated Donna's caring nature, her generosity and her perpetual positive outlook on life. Donna was a role model daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother who provided unconditional love and support and always placed the needs and wants of others before her own. Mother - Thank You. You never walked alone. The family wishes to thank caregivers of Brighton Hospice, Sunrise of Golden Valley and Broadwell, Plymouth. Memorial service 11 AM Saturday April 16, 2022 at Kapala Glodek Malone 7800 Bass Lake Rd., New Hope with visitation one hour prior beginning at 10 AM.
