Morris, Gary Richard Age 75 of Blaine, passed at home peacefully with his family by his side on May 4, 2022. Gary was preceded in death by his loving parents, Richard and Elaine (nee Morse) Morris: siblings, Marilyn Stuart and William Morris and brothers-in-law Michael Huddleston and John (Jack) Pecoraro. Gary worked in the flooring industry 59 years learning the virtues of commitment and hard work owning a business. These virtues were evident in how he pursued his many passions, his career, hunting and fishing. He was generous, selfless and the first to offer help to others. He belonged to: Isanti County Sportsmen's Club, Metro Winchester Gun Club, Walleye Pro Am tournament fishing, SCI and Locked Horns Outfitters. He was an avid card player and was always reading books on history. He loved telling stories of his fishing and hunting adventures. He loved music, dancing and vacations in Mexico. He was a great husband to the "love of his life" for almost 55 years. They raised 3 beautiful daughters together. He is survived by his beautiful, loving, wife, Linda: daughters, Shawna Cheff (Ray), Sharalyn Morris (Tony) and Sommer Thornberg (Cody): brothers, Alan Morris (Bonny) and Robert Morris (Kathleen): sister, Nancy Pecoraro and loving sisters-in-law, Pat Mahoney, Susan Lykke (Doug), Jane Dirkes (Bob), Sally Huddleston, Mary Olson and Marion Morris: beloved grandchildren, Morgan Zajac (Michael), Jacob Heiling (Rachel), Cole Gooder (Ashley), Ryan Matson, Wyatt Smith, Shaelee Frenzel (Eric) and Skyler Cheff: many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, South African framily Willem and Amanda Basson, and many more friends. Through his cheerful personality, he made every day a pleasant one. Gary will be forever loved and greatly missed by his family and so many friends. We have much gratitude and appreciation for Dr. Marlon Lee, Dr. Noel Laudi and MN Oncology staff and Mercy Hospital 2W staff for the healing care he was given. Gary had an unwavering faith in God. A celebration of life memorial service will be Saturday, May 21st at 11 am with visitation 1 hour prior to the service at Abiding Savior Lutheran Church, 8211 Red Oak Drive, Mounds View.
