Foley, John Curran age 92, of Plymouth, died on February 20. John was born in MPLS, in March 1930. He worked for 25 years in the U of MN Police Dept as an officer, detective, and Lieutenant. Preceded in death by loving wife of 45 years, Marge Foley (d. 2009); son, Kevin (d. 2010); parents, Mary and John Foley; and siblings, Margaret Polley and Frank Foley. Survived by daughter, Deborah Foley; nephews, John and Vincent Polley (Lynn); great nieces, Kailen, Aisling, and Elizabeth Polley; and loving sweetheart, Victoria Nervig. John loved fishing, adored his grand nieces like grandchildren, and enjoyed playing cards, board games, and reminiscing about his work at the University. He utterly cherished his constant companion Vicky, whom he met in grief counseling after Marge died.
