Linner-Schaffer, Joanne Marie age 83, of Anoka. passed away June 12, 2024. Preceded in death by husband, Robert Schaffer; parents, John and Lucille Linner; and brother, David Linner. Survived by daughters, Terry (Duane) Shebetka, Lori (Ron) Olund, Sandy (Randy) Bair, Jennifer Audette; grandchildren, Garrett (Lindsay) Filipek, Ryan (Jordan) Filipek, Taylor (Kayla) Filipek, Dylan Bair, Ashley Bair, Brock Audette, and Emily Audette. Joanne worked as a daycare provider for many years. Joanne was also an LPN and later worked at Cambridge Clinic and Fairview Columbia Heights Clinic until she retired. Joanne's happiest times were with family. She loved her family deeply and was so proud of each and every one of them. She lost the love of her life, Bob just a few months ago. She missed Bob so much. Recently, it was very obvious that Bob was sitting on the pontoon boat in heaven. He had the Pepsi, the fishing poles, and three kinds of bait. Being on time for things was not Joanne's strongest attribute. The health challenges that she experienced recently didn't break her spirit. She said that she had to get better because she still had things to do. Her attitude was so positive but her body was so tired. Our family would like to thank Homestead of Anoka for their wonderful care and kindness. Funeral Service to be held Monday, June 24th, at the Washburn-McReavy Coon Rapids Chapel at 11AM, with visitation one hour prior. Interment at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
