Grace C. Ward

Ward, Grace C. 10-27-1937 to 6-7-2024 Grace passed away on the morning of June 7, 2024 with family by her side. She was 86 years old. She was born in Dalbo, Minnesota to parents William and Birdie (Leaf) Hedstrom. She graduated from Princeton High School in 1955. She married Phillip Ward on May 10th, 1958. and were together until Phillip's passing on March 12, 2022. Grace is survived by her five children Alan (Joleen), Maria (Dale), Marguerite (Mark), Jeffrey (Paula), and Theresa; 13 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She is also survived by her sister June Peterson and Brother-in-Law Joseph Ward. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Birdie Hedstrom, five sisters, one brother and grandson Zackrey Peterson. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2024 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 9490 Tower Road, Garrison, MN 56450 visitation at 10:00 am, service at 11:00 a.m. Lunch at the church following the service. Burial will be at a later date. Grace was a caring and loving woman. She has chosen to donate her body to the University of Minnesota Medical School's Anatomy Bequest Program.
