Barbro Helena (Carlson) Gilkey

Gilkey, Barbro Helena (Carlson) November 30, 1961 - June 14, 2024 Barbro (Barb) Gilkey, age 62, passed away peacefully surrounded by friends and family after waging a battle with cancer over the last 3 and a half years. Barb was welcomed into heaven by those who preceded her in death, beloved parents Dean Carlson and Kerstin (Johansson) Carlson. Barb is survived by her husband of 36+ years, Steve Gilkey; children, Grace Gilkey and Gina Gilkey; brothers Dean (Johan) Carlson and Paul Carlson, and many nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, and friends. A memorial service will be held at Mt. Olivet Lutheran 5025 Knox Ave S, on Monday, July 1 at 1pm with a visitation beginning at 12:30pm.
