Rice, John 68, of Plymouth, passed away unexpectedly on June 9, 2024. Preceded in death by parents Dorothy and Lee Rice. Survived by longtime partner Gail Kline, siblings: Linda (Scott) Webb, Steve (Toni Lozano), Janet (Peter Bachman), Kathleen, Dehanna, Lori (John) Ohl, Robert. John retired after a long career in the hospitality industry. Special thanks to Gina and Kevin Koenig, fur babies Odin and Loki for a friendship that enriched John's life. One of his favorite things was watching the eagles soar at his friend's Mississippi River home. He found solitude and peace taking the kayak out in the back waters. He loved his visits to Minnehaha Falls, Minnesota Landscape Arboretum and the apple orchard, but not as much as he loved his mom's homemade cinnamon rolls. "Johnny, I hope you are riding a motorcycle right now." Memorials preferred to Minnesota Landscape Arboretum or donor's choice.
