Taylor, Karen "Noni" Gaile 86, of Minneapolis, died peacefully of cancer on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at the Villa in Richfield. Karen was born December 27, 1937, in St. Paul, Minnesota, the daughter of Ruth and Herb Walden. She graduated from St. Paul Johnson High School in 1955 and Gustavus Adolphus College in 1959. Following graduation from Gustavus she married Chuck Gaile; they later divorced. Karen met her second husband, Mikey Taylor during one of her many trips to Jamaica. They married in 1986 and lived in both countries until Karen relocated to Minnesota in 1988. Karen retired in 2002 after a long career at Alliance Capital in Minneapolis. She was an active member of the Camden Lions Club and was proud to live in the Folwell area of Minneapolis. Karen is survived by her husband, Mikey Taylor; sister, Kathy Dalton; brother, Brian (Nancy) Walden; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; stepmother, Josephine; brother, Myron Stabenow, and sister-in-law, Beverly Stabenow and brother-in-law, Dick Dalton. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, June 26, at 11:00 AM at Morris Nilsen Chapel, 6527 Portland Ave. S., Richfield, MN 554, Burial will be at a later date.
