Kiefat, Linda Rosalie 84, passed away on June 19, 2024, in Anoka, MN. She was born at home on March 1,1940 near Aneta, North Dakota to Oscar and Ragna (Fjeld) Hovde. She was baptized and confirmed at Zion Lutheran Free Church and graduated from Kloten High School in North Dakota. She married Ervin Kiefat on November 7th, 1958. They resided in Coon Rapids, MN until Ervin's death in 2019. She worked in a nursing home in Northwood, North Dakota prior to getting married and later in life she worked as a sales associate in department stores. She was very talented at crafting and was part of a quilting group at her church and a crafting group at the local senior center. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Linda was preceded in death by her husband Ervin Kiefat; daughter Lisa Kiefat; her parents; siblings Bertha (Melvin) Johnson, Kermit (Marie) Hovde, Irvin Hovde, Rudolph Hovde, Alice (Odean) Stigen, Evelyn (Jennings) Johnson, Roland Hovde, Darlene (Alvin) Kragtorp, Ileen (Lawrence) Kiefat and Dennis Hovde. She is survived by son Elwood (Brenda) Kiefat; daughters Barb (John) Perrault and Cheryl (Dave) Malecha; grandchildren Jamie Kiefat, Matt Perrault, Jay Perrault and Morgan Malecha.
