Tyler, Joann Schubert (nee Yost) age 86, passed away on June 23, 2024 in Fridley, MN. Born on May 29, 1938, in Minneapolis, MN, Joann was known for her brutally honest, dramatic, and generous personality. Joann dedicated many years to Theisen Vending as a shipping/receiving manager before transitioning to caregiving and house cleaning. Outside of work, she enjoyed bowling, where she served as bowling secretary for years, and was an enthusiastic gambler, often found at the local casinos and in Laughlin/Las Vegas trying her luck. Her pride and joy were her 3 boys, who she worked tirelessly to support in all of their ventures by taking on extra jobs and ringing her signature cowbell at sporting events. Joann is survived by her husband, Glenn Tyler; sons, Raymond (Cathy), Douglas (Lori), and Roger (Lisa) Schubert; grandchildren, Erin (Jesse) King, Shannon (Todd) Youngberg, Blake Lines, Leah (Simon) Balto, Samuel Schubert, Rick (Ashley) Shackle, and Nicole Schubert; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, David Charles Schubert; parents, Marie and Roy Yost; and her brothers, Stephen and Roy Yost. Reviewal and service will be held on Thursday June 27 from 4-8 PM at Crystal Lake Chapel for family and close friends. There will also be a celebration of life from 4-8 PM on Thursday, July 18, at Sundance Bowl, 15240 113th Ave N, Maple Grove, for all who wish to celebrate Joann's life with her family.
