Schimmel, Donald Keith passed away on June 23, 2024, at the age of 91, of natural causes. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Alice Schimmel; wife, Barbara Schimmel; brother, William Schimmel; son, Donald Schimmel Jr., and granddaughter, Abigail Ranzau. He was survived by his sister-in-law, Naomi Schimmel; brother-in-law, Kenneth Czachowski (Patricia); his daughter, Mary Schimmel (Justin Schweich); son, Thomas Schimmel (Angela); grandchildren, Victoria Imrit (Ramnauth), Donovan Ranzau (Rae Pixler), Brittany Schimmel, Amelia Ranzau and Danni Schimmel; great grandchildren, Samantha, Catherine, Scarlett, Angelo and Ophelia. Visitation and Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church in Savage, MN on July 5th, 2024, at 10:30 AM with visitation 1 hour prior.
