Fair, Andrea Constance (Kubiak) Age 83, of Maple Grove, MN, died peacefully surrounded by family on June 15, 2024. Andrea - a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great- grandmother, sister, and friend - is survived by her husband of 60 years, Raymond; her sisters, Teresa (Paul), Denise (Wilbur); daughters, Christine, Catherine, Cynthia; grandchildren, Andrew (Lauren), Justine (Christopher), Danny, Xavier, Jocelyn, Maiya, Anthony, and Darien, and 7 great-grandchildren. Born in Brainerd, Andrea grew up in St. Peter and later moved to Hastings where she graduated from Hastings High School. Andrea went on to college and excelled in her studies, graduating with honors from St. Mary's School of Nursing. Following graduation, she ventured to Long Beach, California, where she met Raymond, her loving husband. The couple moved back to her native Minnesota to raise their three daughters in Maple Grove, all while Andrea attended to patients at North Memorial Hospital and Mercy Medical Center. She was a dedicated nurse who truly loved caring for people - a kind and gentle soul who listened attentively and served as a compassionate caregiver to all of her patients. She held this role for over 40 years, until her retirement at age 64. Ultimately, Andrea devoted her life to her family, always offering an empathetic ear and a warm embrace. She loved playing golf, watching movies and her Twins games, and attending family gatherings. Holiday celebrations were never complete without her delicious sweet potatoes, fruit salad, and chocolate cake, the latter always in abundance. Andrea will be remembered for her kind spirit and the unconditional love she shared with everyone who knew her. She will be deeply missed. Family will hold a private celebration of life.
