Hamilton, James "Jim" Michael of St. Paul, MN. Age 73. Died June 18 of small cell lung cancer. Predeceased by parents, Jerry and Donna Hamilton; brothers, Tom, Mark and Bob and sister, Mary; father and mother-in-law, William and Alice Delage and many other special friends and relatives. Survived by his beloved wife and partner, Jane Delage and their beloved son, Will; siblings and their partners, John Hamilton, Judy Wilson, Paul Hamilton (Terri), Joe Hamilton (Monica), Barb Ford (Terry) and Katy Hamilton: sister-in-Dori Palmer (Loran), and brother-in-law Mick Zampogna; as well as numerous nephews, nieces, aunts and cousins. A graduate of White Bear Lake Sr High School ('69), the U of M Morris ('75) and William Mitchell College of Law ('85) Jim retired over a decade ago but remained busy traveling, trying new foods, spending time with family and friends, and advocating for the rights of adoptees and the terminally ill. Jim's final gift to the world was the donation of his body to the University of Minnesota Anatomy Bequest Program. A Celebration of Jim's life will be held on July 18, from 4:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. at the Como Park picnic pavilion at 1199 Midway Parkway, St. Paul. Stories and songs to begin at 5:30, followed by a picnic dinner.
