Holten, Diane Kay (Lee) 73, of Minneapolis, MN passed away on June 24, 2024. Diane was born in Dawson, MN on February 12, 1951. She graduated from Dawson High School in 1969 and attended the University of Minnesota and went on to work at the University Ophthalmology department for a fulfilling career. Diane had a passion for nurturing both her family, friends, and her garden. Her friends and neighbors admired the beauty she cultivated in her garden year after year. She was also an active volunteer at church and loved cooking for campers at Cathedral of the Pines. Diane will be missed dearly by her family, friends, and beloved dog Zoe. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cort Holten and parents, Thornie and Sylvia Lee. Survived by her sons, Brent (Becky), Ryan (Melissa) and granddaughters Rory, Bernadette and Rayna; sister Carol (Michael) Nault and brothers David (Janice) Lee and Gary (Debra) Lee, and many nieces and nephews. Join us for a memorial service at Mount Olivet Lutheran Church (5025 Knox Ave S., Minneapolis, MN) on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at 11am and visitation with our family one hour prior to service at the church.
