Schiller, Gerald (Jerry) Nicholas age 88 of Lakeville, MN passed away 7/3/24 after a brief illness. He was born December 7, 1935 in Farmington MN to Anton and Josephine Schiller. His family farmed in Hampton and Farmington and later moved into the town of Farmington. Jerry served in the US Army from 1958 to 1960. In 1961 he married Rosemary Brand and in 1966 they moved to Lakeville. Jerry was a man of faith, loving husband, great dad, hard worker and good provider. He worked as a machinist for over 35 years, mostly at Thompson Lightning Protection. Jerry liked fishing, yard work and home maintenance. He enjoyed taking his two classic cars to shows. For many years he raised pedigreed rabbits to show. Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, brother Maynard Schiller, sister Irma Freiermuth and her husband Bob, and son Jay Schiller. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Rosemary; children Denise (Gary) Bungert, Craig Schiller (Jacki Kinzie), Kurt (Mindy) Schiller; grandchildren Andy Bungert, Josie (Joe) Sienkaniec, Kevin Bungert, Jeremy Bungert, Megan Schiller and Nicholas Schiller; great-grand-daughter Millie Sienkaniec; sister-in-law Delores Schiller. Visitation 5-8 PM July 10, White Funeral Home Lakeville, MN. Mass at 11 AM July 11 at All Saints Catholic Church Lakeville, MN with visitation at 10AM. Memorials preferred in lieu of flowers.
