Major, Phyllis F. Age 96, of St. Paul, born May 27, 1919 in Chicago, Ill to Charles and Anna (Polyea) Fogel and passed away November 20, 2015. Married Sam Major in 1942. Preceded in death by husband, Sam; sister, Charlene. Survived by sons, Mitchell, Leonard (Helen), Anthony (Sandy) and Gilbert Major; grandchildren, Hilary (Pippa), Alex, Sam and Julius Major. Phyllis was a lover of words and stories. A gifted writer, loving wife, mother and aunt. Special thanks to the staff at Sholom Home East who she loved and who made her feel cherished.
