Joslyn, Robert Verner (Bob) of Bloomington, MN. Born November 1, 1938 in Cedar Falls, Iowa to Ronald Scanlon Joslyn and Luella Mae Severn. After a four year battle with dementia and four month battle with pancreatic cancer, died at the age of 74. He was at home under the loving care of hospice and his family and is now resting in God's hands. Survived by loving wife, Shirley, of 43 years; daughter, Christine (Travis) Learing and Kevin (Kristina) Joslyn; grandsons, Kyle Roby, Ryan Roby, Sam Joslyn and Charlie Joslyn; brother, Ronald William Joslyn of Cedar Falls, Iowa. He served in the Army National Guard of Iowa and as a Reserve of the Army from 1961 to 1967 and received an Honorable Discharge. He graduated from Teacher's College High School, Cedar Falls, IA in 1956. He always talked about the great friendships he made at TCHS and the wonderful time he had at his class reunions. His favorite pastime was watching his grandsons play basketball, baseball, football, T-ball and soccer. He enjoyed going on cruises with Shirley and spending time with his family in Northern Minnesota in the summer. Memorial service Thursday 12/13, 1:30 PM, with visitation 1 hour prior at Normandale Hylands United Methodist Church, 9920 Normandale Rd., Bloomington. Private interment Dawn Valley Cemetery.
