Westman, Dorothy Ann (nee Lindbo) age 89, of Excelsior, Minnesota, passed away on May 15, 2015. Dorothy was born in Excelsior, MN to Oscar and Mabel Lindbo on March 20, 1925. She married Roger Westman on October 13, 1951. They spent 63 wonderful years together and raised four children. She was an incredible wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Creative at heart, Dorothy was an accomplished flower arranger and loved to paint. She was dedicated to her God and church. If there was a choir, she was in the soprano section. If you knew her you loved her and she loved you. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Mabel Lindbo; and sisters, Kathryn Bakko and Thelma Schleicher. Dorothy is survived by her husband, Roger Westman; four children, Terry Van Valkenburg, Don Westman (Denise), Marla Johnson (Bill), Tom Westman (Julie); nine grandchildren; and five great- grandchildren. Memorial service Monday, May 19, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, 301 County Rd. 19, Excelsior. Gathering of family and friends will take place for one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday. Lunch will follow the service. Private family interment Oak Hill Cemetery, Excelsior.
