Scott Michael Scott, 58, of Coon Rapids, lost his battle with cancer on 2/27/05. He was preceded in death by both of his parents and is survived by wife, Bonnie; daughters, Michelle (Sonny) Beeskow, Tracy (John) Schmidt and Nicole; sons, Chad (Stephanie), Justin and Bret; grandchildren, Jonathan, Christopher, Bradley, Lisa, Q Chace, Sydney, Hailey and Madison. With 4 sisters, 1 brother, 8 brother-in-laws, 4 sister-in-laws, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Mike was big on family and enjoyed family gatherings. He would want you not to cry for him, but celebrate with the family and laugh, as he had a great sense of humor. Mike grew up in South Minneapolis and graduated from South High. He went to tech school before serving in the Army, becoming a medic among other duties. After the service, printing became his career: from pressman to management, he did it all. He trained and helped so many along the way. As he did with his children and grandchildren helping with school and college homework and being at their sporting events, which he so did love. In memory of Mike, feed the birds and have a barbeque. A Memorial service will be held Tuesday at 3PM.
