Officials to reveal concerns, plans for state's transportation needs

June 26, 2008 at 1:08PM

Minnesotans will learn more about the roads they drive on and what state and other government officials envision for transportation in the future.

This morning in Duluth, Minnesota officials present an update to the state's 20-year transportation plan.

Then, later in the morning at the closed Lowry Avenue Bridge in northeast Minneapolis, we'll hear the results of a survey of county engineers who will reveal their concerns about county roads and bridges.

The results are being released by Minnesota 2020, which describes itself as "a progressive, nonpartisan think tank" that focuses on public policy.
