Kevin Miller scored twice as Ohio State beat defending NCAA champion Denver 5-1 Sunday in the championship game of the Midwest Regional in Allentown, Pa.
Ohio State, Michigan both advance to Frozen Four
Miller's first goal, in the 16th minute of the first period, gave the Buckeyes (26-9) a 2-0 lead and proved to be the winner.
But his second goal, at 11:51 of the third, was just as big. It came 30 seconds after Tyson McLellan had scored for the Pioneers (23-10) and restored Ohio State's three-goal lead at 4-1.
The Buckeyes' only other Frozen Four was in 1998.

Michigan 6, Boston University 3: Jake Slaker's unassisted goal at 6 minutes, 27 seconds of the third period was the winner in the Wolverines' victory over the Terriers in Worcester, Mass.
Michigan (22-14-3) took a 3-1 lead on goals by Quinn Hughes and Tony Calderone in the first and Brendan Warren in the second. BU (22-14-4) tied it when Patrick Curry scored midway through the second period and Drew Melanson made it 3-3 early in the third.
