The Minneapolis ad agency Olson has been named digital agency of record for the California Lottery, one of the largest lotteries in the U.S.

The California Lottery is Olson's fourth lottery client.

Olson already is the agency of record for the Minnesota Lottery and provides digital services to the Ontario Lottery and Gaming and the Atlantic Lottery.

The five-year contract with the California Lottery is valued at $13.5 million for Olson and includes strategic, creative and technological services.

Olson, a homegrown agency, was acquired late last year by Virginia-based ICF International. Since then, the agency has restructured some of its top management ranks. John Partilla remains CEO but Margaret Murphy, who was leader of the 1to1 loyalty marketing arm, is now president. Olson also added Chief Creative Officer Kevin McKeon from StrawberryFrog in New York and Jurene Fremstad, from Mono and Deutsch, as senior vice president for strategy.
