One northern Minnesota boater rescued, another still missing

The men were tossed from their boat early Tuesday afternoon, according to the Sheriff's Office.

One of two boaters pitched into a northern Minnesota lake remains unaccounted for, authorities said.

Two men were tossed from their boat early Tuesday afternoon while on Hay Lake, located near Pine River, according to the Cass County Sheriff's Office.

Emergency responders and sheriff's deputies located the boat's operator and brought him to shore, the Sheriff's Office said. He was treated for minor injuries.

Searchers have yet to locate the other man as of Wednesday morning.

The Sheriff's Office has yet to publicly identify the men.
