I've taken the chalkboards to seven high schools along University Avenue in St. Paul and photographed hundreds of students at Agape, Creative Arts, Gordon Parks, International Academy - LEAP, Project LEAD, Hubbs Center, and Avalon. Sometimes, as in the photo above, I'll ask a student to pick another student at the same school who they consider outside their social group or clique. I then ask both of them a series of questions, such as, "How do you think others see you?" and "What don't they see?"
