Pawlenty to speak to North Dakota GOP

The Minnesota governor, and potential 2012 presidential contender, will address about 1,400 delegates.

Traveling Tim Pawlenty will scoot over to Grand Forks on Sunday, March 21 to speak to the North Dakota Republican Party convention, party executive director Adam Jones confirmed Wednesday.

The Minnesota governor, and potential 2012 presidential contender, will address about 1,400 delegates, Jones said.

Pawlenty has not had a North Dakota speaking gig since he announced he wasn't running for a third term last summer.
