Authorities identified Wednesday the pickup truck driver who was killed over the weekend in a single-vehicle crash in Anoka County as a 38-year-old father of three.

Jeremy J. Lind, 38, of Ramsey, died after his pickup skidded off the road in the 16600 block of Garnet St. NW., near Riverdale Park in Ramsey about 6:40 p.m. Sunday, according to the Sheriff's Office.

The truck hit a tree, and came to rest in a yard about 4 miles south of Lind's home, said authorities, who have yet to explain why the vehicle went off the road. He was alone in the pickup.

Lind leaves behind a 12-year-old son and daughters ages 10 and 7, along with his wife, Karen.

Lind worked for Medtronic as a principal program analyst.
