NOV. 26

Suspicious activity. An abandoned stroller was reported in the area of Trading Post Trail and 40th Street. A deputy checking on the stroller was told by a passerby that it had been there for approximately two weeks. It was removed and disposed of in the city dumpster.

ANDOVER

DEC. 3

Theft. A 2013 Ford Escape was stolen from the 13500 block of Xavis Street NW. The keys had been left inside the vehicle.

CHASKA

DEC. 2

Assault. A 15-year-old boy was arrested for assault in the 600 block of 4th Street E.

COLUMBUS

DEC. 4

Theft. A Black Hills spruce tree was stolen from a property in the 13500 block of Jodrell Street NE. It was cut down.

EAST BETHEL

DEC. 7

Theft. A gun and electronics were stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 19000 block of Channel Lane NE.

EDINA

DEC. 4

Drugs. A 22-year-old woman was arrested for possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle following a traffic stop at 66th Street and York Avenue.

JORDAN

DEC. 6

Suspicious activity. An officer responded to a report of a 911 hang-up call at East Street. The officer determined the call was made by young children.

LAUDERDALE

DEC. 3

Assault. The manager of an apartment building in the 1500 block of Eustis Street reported confronting two individuals walking around the complex who she suspected were looking to steal packages. They refused when told to leave and started throwing landscaping rocks and pebbles at her, damaging a glass door. The suspects fled but were eventually arrested and released with citations for assault, damage to property and trespassing.

Theft. Packages were reported stolen from two apartment buildings in the 1600 block of Carl Street.

MAHTOMEDI

NOV. 23

Suspicious activity. A resident in the 900 block of Pineridge Court reported drones flying over their house every night. A deputy on scene observed what appeared to be stars or possibly a satellite in the sky. A neighbor, using an astronomy app, confirmed the suspected drones were planets.

MINNETRISTA

DEC. 1

Check welfare. An officer responded to a report of a woman screaming in an apartment on Main Street. It was found she had a nightmare and everything was fine.

NEW BRIGHTON

DEC. 10

Theft/property damage. A hole was cut in the chain-link fence of a property in the 2200 block of Old Hwy. 8 NW., and the copper wiring was removed from a conveyor belt machine on the premises.

Theft. Lotions, candles and essential oils valued at $100 were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 900 block of 22nd Avenue NW.

OAK GROVE

DEC. 6

Fire. Officers responded to a report of a house fire in the 18600 block of Cedar Drive NW. The homeowner said there were 12 dogs in the home. Nine dogs were able to make it out but three did not. The Oak Grove Fire Department arrived and extinguished the fire.

PLYMOUTH

DEC. 7

Weapon. A 39-year-old man and a 40-year-old man were arrested for illegal possession of firearms in the 10000 block of 59th Avenue.

PRIOR LAKE

DEC. 2

Theft. Collector spoons, valued at $200, were stolen from a storage unit at apartments in the 16500 block of Tranquility Court. Bolt cutters were used to cut the lock.

SHAKOPEE

DEC. 4

Drugs. A 37-year-old man was arrested for sale of methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine at Canterbury Road and Crossing 42.

DEC. 7

Drugs. A 41-year-old man was arrested for possession of cocaine, driving after cancellation, obstructing the legal process and open bottle in a motor vehicle at Walmart, 8101 Old Carriage Court.
