Police looking for missing 10-year-old Crystal boy

Authorities are searching for 10-year-old boy from Crystal who has been missing since after school on Wednesday.

Barway Edwin Collins was last seen near his apartment building in the 5400 block of Douglas Drive North after classes Wednesday, according to the Crystal Police Department.

Collins is 5-feet tall, 80 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a black jacket, white T-shirt, black pants, red shoes and was carrying a red backpack, the alert said.

Deputy Chief Mike Meehan said the department is working to find the boy, but has little to go on.

Police are asking anyone with information on the child's whereabouts to call the Crystal Police Department via Hennepin County Dispatch at 952-258-5321 or dial 911.
