Police are trying to track down a suspect in the robbery and stabbing of a 16-year-old boy in south Minneapolis Thursday.

But so far, investigators have little to go on, with only a limited description of the assailant. The victim was found by officers in the 3400 block of S. 15th Avenue, near the Powderhorn Recreation Center at 5:27 p.m., according to a police report. Police said he had been stabbed multiple times in the abdomen. He was taken by ambulance to Children's Hospital, where his condition wasn't known on Friday.

Another boy, 14, was also present at the time of the robbery, but wasn't injured.
