His first solo gig in the Twin Cities.

Saturday: Not only will it be the first time Twin Cities fans have seen a solo gig by the Pearl Jam frontman, but it also will be the first time most of them have attended a concert centered around that most acquired taste of instruments, the ukulele. He's touring behind his lovely if limited album "Ukulele Songs," featuring new tunes, a few covers and one Pearl Jam revision ("Can't Keep"), all played on the cute little four-string mini-guitar. Vedder is also dropping other PJ tunes into the sets. Anybody who yells a request for "Alive" or "Evenflow," though, should go get an IQ test. Glen Hansard of the Swell Season and Frames fame will make for a great opener, and probably Vedder's duet partner, too.
