Javan Olmscheid drove in two runs and then scored on an overthrow to complete a 10-9 come-from-behind victory for Hutchinson over visiting Holy Family in baseball action Tuesday. The Tigers scored seven runs in the final two innings to overcome a 9-3 deficit.

Olmscheid finished with two hits, two RBI and two runs scored for the Tigers. Billy Marquardt hit a three-run triple to cap a three-run sixth inning that got the Tigers to within two runs. Braeden McGill finished the game with two walks, one stolen base and two runs scored, and Sam Rensch had one hit, one stolen base and three runs scored for the Tigers.

The Fire jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first inning. It added a run in the third and two in the fourth before taking a 9-3 lead into the bottom of the sixth.

Spencer Lewin led the Fire with two hits, two walks, two RBI, two stolen bases and three runs scored. Stephen Webster had three hits and two runs scored, Tien Foudray had two hits, one stolen base and two runs scored, Carver Kasper had one hit, one RBI, two stolen bases and one run scored and Owen Lund had one hit and two RBI for the Fire.

Becker 3, St. Francis 2: Will Thorn drove in two runs with two outs in the bottom of the seventh inning to give the Bulldogs the walk-off victory over the Saints in the first game of a doubleheader. Nolan Murphy got the rally started with an RBI hit also with two outs in the seventh. Jackson Thom, Mitchell Louden and Lucas Eigen scored for the Bulldogs. Eigen had three hits and Murphy had two. Cam Husby had two hits, one RBI and one run scored for the Saints. In the second game, the Bulldogs pulled away in the latter innings for an 8-3 victory. Murphy had two hits, one RBI and two runs scored, Thom and Eigen had two hits, two RBI and one run scored each, Nick Berglund had two hits and one run scored and Louden had two hits for the Bulldogs. CJ Block had one hit and two RBI for the Saints.

St. Croix Lutheran 2, Concordia Academy 0: Evan Sasse struck out seven in seven innings to shutout the visiting Beacons. The Crusaders scored two runs in the fifth inning to break the scoreless tie. Owen Kelm had a double, RBI and stolen base and Jack Gatzke had a double for the Crusaders. Samuel Frazen pitched six innings with one earned run and five strikeouts on the mound and reached base twice with a hit and walk at the plate for the Beacons.

Softball

Rosemount 5, Lakeville North 2: Jessa Snippes hit a walk-off home run to give the Irish the victory over the visiting Panthers. She finished with a home run, triple, four RBI and one run scored at the plate and had 10 strikeouts in seven innings as a pitcher. Cece Hanson hit a solo home run for the Irish. The Panthers scored one run in the seventh inning to take a 2-1 lead into the bottom of the inning. Nora Brandt and Jordan Ahrenstorff had one hit and one RBI each for the Panthers.

Coon Rapids 4, Andover 2: The Cardinals scored a pair of runs in the fifth inning to pull away from the visiting Huskies. Jaidann Gale had two hits, one RBI, two stolen bases and one run scored for the Cardinals. Grace Graham had two hits and one RBI, Evin Ulland had two hits, one stolen base and one run scored and Leah Nummela had two hits and one RBI for the Cardinals. Morgan Kostecka hit a solo home run and Ashley Gustafson had two hits for the Huskies.

Eagan 3, Lakeville South 1: Nicole Cassellius had two hits, one stolen base and two RBI at the plate and struck out five in seven innings as a pitcher to lead the Wildcats past the visiting Cougars. Sara Boerger had two hits and one run scored for the Wildcats. Madeline Nutter struck out 12 in six innings pitched, Kaylee Hafermann had two hits and one RBI and Raelyn Costley had two hits for the Cougars.

Hopkins 10, Mahtomedi 8: Ruth Freiberg had had two singles, one triple, two stolen bases and two RBI to lead the Royals past the host Zephyrs. Delaney Lindstrom and Lauren Granger had two hits, two RBI, one stolen base and two runs scored, Abi Carter had two hits, one RBI, one stolen base and two runs scored and Tori Turgeron had one hit, two RBI and one run scored. Olivia VanHout led the Zephyrs with three hits, one RBI and two runs scored and Claire Wirka had two hits, one RBI and two runs scored.

Girls' lacrosse

Wayzata 14, Henry Sibley 13: Ava Score scored five goals to lead the Trojans past the visiting Warriors. Julia Lindahl scored four goals and Kaitlyn Sikorski and Eleanor Swanson had two goals each for the Trojans. Jaylen Rosga led the Warriors with four goals and Brooke Tjernlund and Ella Berg had three each.
