NO. 2 PENN STATE (7-0) AT NO. 6 OHIO STATE (6-1)
2:30 p.m. (Ch. 9)
The winner stays atop the Big Ten East and in strong position for the College Football Playoff, and for Ohio State, a loss will all but end the Buckeyes' hopes of returning there. The Buckeyes have had this one circled since Grant Haley — he of the 60-yard blocked field goal return — and unranked Penn State upset No. 2 Ohio State 24-21 in Happy Valley last year. With fifth-year QB J.T. Barrett playing as wll as ever, Ohio State has amassed 500 total yards in five consecutive games and is coming off an open date. Penn State has won 16 of 17 and is in the middle of a three-game stretch of Michigan-Ohio State-Michigan State.
