April 7: Canceled two Atlanta shows because he wasn't feeling well.

April 12: Tweeted a photo of his new purple piano: BOOM (FROM LOTUSFLOWER) ON THIS NEWLY ARRIVED PURPLE PRESENT FROM YAMAHA

April 14: Performed in Atlanta on his Piano and Microphone tour.

April 15: Treated for dehydration at a Moline, Ill., hospital, after his private jet made an emergency landing at Quad City International Airport in Moline. He was feeling ill after reportedly battling the flu for a couple of weeks.

April 16: Dropped by the Electric Fetus in Minneapolis, one of his favorite record stores, to buy a few CDs, including a Stevie Wonder oldie album. He later tweeted: FETUS, THANX 4 THE TUNES! ROCKED STEVIE'S TALKING BOOK ALL THE WAY HOME #RecordStoreDay

Later that day, Prince appeared briefly at Paisley Park, where he threw a dance party to let people know he was alive and well. He tweeted the invite to the party, saying: 2 GIVE THANX 4 THE GOOD WEATHER AND 4 ALL THE LOVE AND SUPPORT

April 17: Tweeted in a reply to a fan: #FeelingRejuvenated #FeelingInspired #FeelingLoved

April 19: Attended a concert by jazz/soul singer Lizz Wright at the Dakota Jazz Club in Minneapolis. He sat at a table in the balcony with members of his band.

April 21: Emergency personnel were called to his Paisley Park recording studio complex in Chanhassen around 9:45 a.m. Prince was found unresponsive in an elevator and was pronounced dead at 10:07 a.m.
