A 19-year-old man from Redwood Falls, Minn., was killed Saturday in an accident while goose hunting, the Renville County Sheriff's Office said. A 911 call came in to Sheriff's Office dispatchers at 9:43 a.m., reporting that someone in a hunting party had been accidentally shot. Emergency personnel found Nicholas J. Verdoes dead of a single gunshot wound half a mile north of Danube, Minn.
