Reed will miss Packers game

Ravens safety inactive with a hip injury. Suggs also out.

GREEN BAY, WIS. -- It's been a good couple of weeks for the Packers.

First, they got to play the Lions on Thanksgiving day. That's a great way to get an easy win and have some extra time to heal before playing a, you know, NFL team.

Then they got an extra day because they're playing a Monday nighter -- at home, no less.

And now comes word that the Ravens will be without All-Pro safety Ed Reed, who is inactive with a hip injury. Tom Zbikowski, as second-year player from Notre Dame, will start in Reed's place. I don't know a lot about Tommy Z., but I do know there's a drop-off between Ed Reed and Tommy Z.

The Ravens also will be without OLB Terrell Suggs. Trevor Pryce will replace him in the starting lineup.
