Before you connect too many dots, however, Nightengale offers some clarity on his house-hunting motives:
Minnesota winters get to all of us eventually. Regardless of Gardenhire's intentions, we can't blame him for opting for a warmer winter destination -- one, we should note of course, that also happens to be the Twins' spring training home. Our only real concern is what will become of his bowling average.
Minnesota protected its playoff position and moved closer to the third-place spot in the Central that Colorado swiped last week.
