ROCHESTER - The Post-Bulletin, the daily newspaper in Rochester, is moving news page and ad design production to Moline, Ill., affecting nearly two dozen jobs.

The Post-Bulletin's owner, Small Newspaper Group of Kankakee, Ill., said it is centralizing key services of its daily papers to cut costs and improve efficiency. The company also has papers in Moline, Kankakee and Ottawa, Ill.

Affected employees at the Post-Bulletin include copy editors, news graphic artists and ad designers. At least eight of the jobs are in the newsroom.

The changes will be phased in by the end of the year.
