Rosemount woman sentenced for stealing from Eastview High School party fund
Jill Lynn Fiedler, 38, received 90 days in jail and five years of probation after she stole the $8,727.
Jill Lynn Fiedler, 38, was treasurer of a parent group at the Apple Valley school. The group was formed to raise money and organize the 2017 senior party. Members discovered some unauthorized withdrawals from the group's account, and Fiedler was the only person who had access to the bank account.
Fiedler told investigators that she had taken the money to buy prize items for the party but hadn't bought anything yet. She apparently funneled more than half of the money into her sex toys business, the criminal charges said. She stole the money from October 2016 to February 2017.
She pleaded guilty to one count of theft by temporary control, a felony. A hearing will be held May 9 to determine the amount of restitution Fiedler must pay.
