Sage Electrochromics Inc. said Tuesday it raised another $20 million in venture capital financing.

The Faribault, Minn.-based company makes "smart windows," which allow users to adjust the tint of windows according to a building's temperature and energy needs.

Sage officials say they will use the money, raised from venture capital firms Good Energies, Applied Ventures, and NV Bekaert SA, to help pay for its international expansion. The company had previously raised nearly $30 million.
