Saints break losing streak with 10-inning victory over Clippers

COLUMBUS, OHIO – The St. Paul Saints scored three runs in the top of the 10th inning to beat the Columbus Clippers 6-4 on Saturday night, ending a three-game losing streak.

The Saints broke a 3-3 tie in extra innings when a run scored on J.T. Riddle's groundout and Roberto Pena followed with a two-run single.

Jimmy Kerrigan hit a two-run homer and Mark Contreras a solo shot for the Saints, who got 2 13 perfect innings of relief from winning pitcher Andrew Vasquez. Bryan Sammons started and gave up two hits and one run in five innings.
